10 Questions with Mariel Heather
I had the pleasure of recently interviewing Mariel, a beautiful person inside and out who has always followed her spiritual passions. While encountering obstacles along the way, she never wavered when it came to sharing her gifts and follow her dreams. In only 10 questions, you too will see why Mariel is such an inspiration.
Tell me a little about yourself.
I'm a Shaman and Crystal Healer. As an empath, I use my spiritual gifts to heal people and their souls. I'm able to see where your self-imposed limitations and blocks lie and help you heal so you can come into alignment with your truest self.
1. What is your career/passion?
My career and passion is to be your spiritual mentor, helping people transform and heal their lives at a soul level.
2. How long have you been working at it?
I've had this ability my whole life, I just didn't follow this passion full-time until about a year ago.
3. In one word, how does it make you feel?
4. Why is it so important to you?
It's so important to me because I see people all of the time who feel stuck in their life situations, mental/physical pain, emotional state and my mission is to share with them that it doesn't have to be that way. Life can be how YOU want it. We don't have to be a victim to circumstances. We are the creators of our lives.
5. What do you love most about it?
I love seeing the actual change and feedback from my clients. When they tell me how much they've healed and how much better their lives have become, that means the world to me.
6. Who/what inspired you most and why?
People who inspired me the most were actually the people leading lives I didn't want to have. Sometimes seeing what you don't want is the best way to figure out what you do want.
7. Did you ever want to give up? If so, what got you over the hump?
I've never wanted to give up specifically on this career or passion but there were and are still times where I feel defeated. I remind myself that the people who don't give up are the ones who succeed in the end, any little step forward is progress and to not be so hard on myself.
8. What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is The Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale.
9. Can you share your most inspiring quote?
My most inspiring quote is by Buddha. It reads, "What we think, we become." This quote is basically how I live my life. I believe that our inner thoughts create our external environment.
10. If you could give ONE PIECE of advice to someone who is starting out on a quest to follow their passion, what would that be?
Never give up!
