How to Smile About Stress, Anxiety and Worry
Have you ever had a bad day and had someone say, "Just smile. It can't be that bad." Before you storm off even more upset, think about it. Maybe smiling isn't such a bad idea.
Smiling does actually change your brain chemistry. While I am no scientist, if turning a frown upside down means releasing some much-needed endorphins to make me feel better, than why not.
Try it. This week when you are annoyed or feeling negative - SMILE. Truly experience it and notice the sensations in your body. If you feel better for even a minute more, then it's worth it.
